19th Feb 2008 : You will no doubt have heard the (admittedly not particularly funny) joke about there being two versions of The God Delusion: one of them moderate, reasonable and utterly convincing and only bought only by atheists, and the other vicious, aggressive and offensive, and exclusively bought by Christians. It is clear that religion is an emotive issue and that the reader's beliefs (or lack of them) will strongly colour his or her reaction to any writing on the subject. For this reason I'm going to lay my cards on the table right at the start: I am an atheist, a great fan of Richard Dawkins' books and an enthusiastic contributor to this website when time allows.
28th Jan 2008 : Editor's note: WorldNetDaily exclusive columnist Vox Day's new book, "The Irrational Atheist," scores a direct hit on atheism's most well-known practitioners. Using reason, science and historical documentation – not theology – Day argues the atheists into an inescapable corner. WorldNetDaily Editor Joseph Farah recently interviewed Day about the new book, which is available at WND's online store.
17th Sep 2007 : Sir: Peter Stanford ("Doubts about Dawkins", 14 September) writes that the recent books by Christopher Hitchens and myself "deserve a decent response. But how to fashion it?" A decent start would be to read them.
31th May 2007 : This interview was filmed for the TV documentary "Root of All Evil?" but was left out of the final version. Time restrictions dictated that not all interviews filmed could be used. This was especially regrettable in the case of the McGrath interview, which is therefore offered here now, unedited.
19th Nov 2006 : "I really hope it is not from my next door neighbour! Perhaps I need to move."
