Keep me logged in / Remember Me - Updated 30 Jan 1400 MST

I made another update that overwrote the remember me functionality of the library I am using for the sign in system. I thought I had it all fixed again. However, I found someone else with this issue and had them test the update and the issue was still occurring. But now I have 3 comments saying it is working and one other person that I troubleshoot with that says it is working for them as well.
So. Can every one that tested this earlier give it another shot? Just need to know if it worked or not for you. I appreciate everyones help on this.
For a little while now we have had a number of reports and tickets stating that the checkbox "Remember me" on the sign in page was not working for certain users. However, for the longest time it was hard to troubleshoot this issue because it did not seem to affect everyone to include us developers and admin.
I have taken some time and noticed some small errors in our code that could have be causing this issue. I have updated the code and it is live on the site now. Because the issue did not affect the admins I am unable to verify the updated code is fixing the issue at hand. I hope that any one out there that was trying to use the remember me function (now renamed Keep me logged in) with no effect can give it a try again and let us know if you still see the issue.
I would like to note that there are some limitation of the "Keep me logged in" feature. This will only work on one browser. If you log in with a different browser and click "Keep me logged in" the feature will now remember you for the new browser and not the old. If you log out of the site from anywhere it will also disable the remember me on the browser you have it set for. I do plan on looking into way of improving this feature but for now I would just like to know if it is working as described above.
