avatarI found this website after I had heard Richard plug it during one of his many talks. Since then I have been somewhat of an addict.

I have learned a lot from many, many contributors to the site; all in all a great contribution to 'consciousness raising' as RD might put it.

Anyway, thanks Josh for all you do.

avatarCan't listen to this interview right now, but whilst we're all saying nice things to Josh, I'd like to join in: thank you!

Thank you for all the hard work you've done creating a fascinating news and opinions hub and a meeting place for a lot of very interesting people. And for making it clear, attractive and highly professional. If it hadn't been for your efforts, I would never have been able to answer the 'In which country did river dolphins recently become extinct?' question in last night's pub quiz. So, you are making a real difference in people's lives.

Thanks again and very well done.

avatarYes, definitetly 3 chers for Josh. Running a web site like this must be quite a task. I have often wondered how many hits this site gets - I suspect it is rather a lot.

Got any figures? Or trends - would be fascinating to know!

Keep up the good work

Nice one Josh. I was going to say the website is a godsend, but I might be pushing things a bit. I've never been shy about my doubts about SuperG and his miracle workers, but it is great to be able to contact people with a similar outlook to myself. And it seems that it is all down to you and Richard "Consciousness-Raiser" Dawkins.

 avatarJosh,

I'm listening to the interview now and I appreciate what you say. I bought a shirt, but have not yet worn it because I've been leary of the reaction I get (and if nothing else I saw it as support of the Foundation). Luckily, I should take comfort that not many people in my area will even know what it's referencing, but your interview helps to give me the courage to wear it. Thanks for doing this!

Oh, and the website kicks butt. Thanks!

 avatarJosh,

Forget that you've ruined my social life by keeping me glued to the screen when I should be down the pub. Forget that you've ruined my friends lives as they too got hooked and now blame me for it. Find solace in fact that you have done something quite marvelous in this site.

I thank you from the bottom of my liver....

More heart felt congratulations. Living in middle America, I am excessively exposed to religios meme. Your excellent work on web site shows a glimmer of hope that not all mankind (PC humankind) is base (flawed).

avatarJosh.. Congrats on your excellent interview, and for showing us another interesting website (dogmafreeamerica).
Your efforts and contributions to rational thought, freedom of expression, and freedom from irrational (religious ) persecution, while not in the lime light is just as valuable and appreciated as the more colourful characters writing the best sellers. THANK YOU for your hard work! jcw

Josh,
Before you get carried away with all this praise, how comes I keep getting only half the home page loading?
Oh, of course - goddidit!
Seriously though, your contribution to my education is as great as almost any teacher I've had - in fact I could say that to a number of contributors as well!
Thanks

Several weeks ago, I purchased a tee-shirt from the site online. It arrived, I ran it quickly through the washer/dryer, and wore it to the local mall.

I live in West Palm Beach, Florida. I was surprised that no one asked about the shirt, or commented on it. So I wore it a second and third time. Same results.

Turns out, it is not as provocative as I thought it might be.

I was hoping that it might cause a bit of a stir.

P.S. Has the site been broken? I have attempted to get a response for more than a month regarding my old profile which just wouldn't allow me to log in. I was allowed to use the log in at the store, but not on the regular site. Today, I finally broke down and started a new profile so that I could comment.

avatarI wear two different 'message-shirts' on occasion and am aslo supprised at the lack of negative feedback I get. On the contrary - those who take the time out to read them, either break out laughing (the result of wearing my most provacative shirt), or just crack a smile. I haven't been verbally chastized yet. (maybe because I'm 6'4" and 330 lbs).

The first shirt - "Why be 'born again' - when you can just grow up?"

The second and most provacative - "If Jesus returns... Kill Him again!"

On the latter, I did have one fellow say, "I fear for you."
