As offensive as many of my colleagues find him, I am always pleased with the eloquence and clarity of Dr. Dawkins' lectures. Thank you for this one!3. Comment #36376 by Adrian on May 1, 2007 at 2:37 am

As excellent as ever, clear, concise, amusing, inspiring. I was especially pleased to hear so many of my heroes quoted.6. Comment #36424 by Logicel on May 1, 2007 at 5:02 am

Algebratheist, you only think he slipped up..I think he is adding weight to my theory that ancient astronauts killed the dinosaurs to make room for the mutant pod people know as humans...8. Comment #36453 by Yorker on May 1, 2007 at 7:21 am

I especially liked the bit about the biologist who had such humility (and indeed joy) in accepting a disproof of his theory of the golgi apparatus. That was a very moving anecdote.12. Comment #36485 by sane1 on May 1, 2007 at 10:08 am

It is an excellent lecture but he seems to recycle/repakage his material quite a bit, they all sound kind of similar. A longer version of this lecture has been given in Mcgill University in 2006 on the strangeness of science. Except for the beginning part about faith this lecture is a word for word rendition of a portion of the Mcgill lecture.
