Dear Richard Dawkins,
I am a 19 year University student who grew up in a Christian family. After spending years wrestling with religion and spirituality but never finding any resolution or constant peace with the world or God, my life was forever changed when a friend of mine turned me on to the infamous YouTube clips of your address to Liberty University. The concise way you pointed out the ludicrious arguments made by religion cleared my mind and I even felt my life come into place in my mind's eye. Your doctrine of intelligence and sensibility is far superior to any doctrine based on theology. I suppose even the knowledge of science and the wonderment of the universe is far better than doctrine, but the term seems to fit for the sake of analogy. Thank you for opening my eyes to see that this life we have here is far better than what is imagined by preachers and believing in the decency of human beings without need for make-believe as a pretense for morals.
Sincerely, David Brubacher
