The Gospel according to St. John, Chapter 3, verse 16 - a modern day recasting to better understand its essential message.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life"
For the boss so loved his staff that he installed a new computer as interface between himself and the workforce, thus having to avoid direct contact. He solemnly promised a job for life to anyone who agreed to accept the computer as a proxy for himself, and to obey without question all the instructions appearing on the new computer's screen. However, the latter had to be immediately saved to a memory stick and acted upon in perpetuity, given that the computer was programmed to suddenly go up in smoke.
