Dear Professor Dawkins,
I wanted to thank you for helping me fling off the religious restraints.
Raised as a Jehovah’s Witness, I tried to convince people of the bible and the specific doctrines of this christian community. Now I regret that so much.
I began to study, to think and after a year or two I wrote a very long letter to all my friends in this church to wake them up - 45 letters, 2 answers. I loosed them, because their fear is to strong.
Please go on with your work. It’s so necessary!
One of the biggest religious lies: Christianity is a religion of love.
Feeling real love means to be your self and feel free.
Morals (in contrast to ethics) help sometimes to play love but not to feel it!
Many religions try to keep people immature and bear down self thinking, self feeling.
They destroy love by showing people how to play love.
They catch them in corset of fear and dogmas until they can’t even stand alone without it.
(I speak from my own experience)
We have to stop that.
Thank you for helping me wake up.
