You might not remember every fan you have ever met, but we met briefly when you came to do the University of Auckland Lecture on the 13th March 2010.
I was one of the many people waiting in line to get my picture taken and receive an autograph for your book The Greatest Show on Earth.
Ever since that event and also before I have always wanted to write a message like this to show that your writings are and will always be a great inspiration to me, as they have helped me escape the mental prison of my early “ Christian / Roman Catholic “education.
You have made Earth a saner place to live in, and I aspire to have a similar influence on people for whom I know and meet present and future. I am proud to be an atheist because of you and seeing how your works have not only challenged but also helped to eliminate many people or institutional structures who would deem fit to impose their fairy tale and dangerous ideals and doctrines on innocent, decent human being.
I will keep this short, I just wanted to in the best way I could with the resources available to me write my appreciation to your work and to let you know that you will have a fan and solid supporter until the end and also to let you know that if I can, which I am working on, is to see you and the rest of the panel at the global atheist convention 2012 in Australia.
