Andrew Copson has been Chief Executive of the British Humanist Association for the past two years, but does not view himself as a leader. Andrew believes one of the greatest things about Humanism is that it does not demand that a person follow a leader or subscribe to a single individual’s thoughts or beliefs. Instead Humanism opens up access to all schools of thought when it comes to making decisions about life. Andrew does not believe religious leaders should ever be relied on as the exclusive source of moral values or authority in society.
