Sunday Assembly says they are a godless congregation that is part atheist-church, part foot-stomping show and 100% celebration of life.

Founder Sanderson Jones said, " We like to think of it as all the best bits of church, but with no religion and super awesome pop songs" Jones and fellow comedian Pippa Evans started Sunday assembly in London in January. Now there are more than 600 people in their congregation . Jones added, "We often say if we did believe on god we definitely think he is on our side."

The event is part of Sunday Assembly's 40 Dates and 40 Nights tour which is happening around the world. The group's goal is to inspire people in the same way traditional churches do, just without including religious figures. People like David Lyle found inspiration to start a church plant here in Nashville.
