1. Blair converts to Catholicism

Bliar is still active in the EU, which means that the Vatican now has another adherent who will promote its agenda. And we all know how they like to stick their noses into the business of real states...

Not a good thing.

I doubt that I would don a sheet and join in hymns to the rising sun or whatever, because I think it is all fabricated modern nonsense.

And the difference is? OK, so most religion is not modern, but surely we can agree it's all fabricated nonsense?

3. The Rise of Atheist America

Somehow, atheism ... is now becoming hip, sophisticated, enlightened, even a badge of honor.

No, just the default position.

4. Atheists and believers have got religion wrong

There's a modern brand of militant atheist that can appear horribly smug and superior.

Jascha Heifetz wasn't far wrong when he said:
"No matter what side of the argument you are on, you always find people on your side that you wish were on the other."

5. Charles Brooker's screen burn

I must say that my experience of the Royal Homeopathic Hospital - admittedly it was thirty-odd years ago - was of a completely conventional medical establishment, that happened to have a dusty and dark woo-woo library attached to it. My operation entailed normal anaesthetic procedures and a well equipped theatre. No homeopathy...

I'm glad to hear that it has been refurbished, and can't see anything sinister about that.

Daft as this eruv business is, I can't see that anyone comes to harm as a result of it. There must be more important things to bitch about...

I assume that by 'animals' we actually mean 'other animals'?
