1. Man and God

It seems like the same old argument that has already been done, just rehashed.

..."Hitler and Stalin, both driven by what they believed a "scientific" ideology"...

Did I miss something? Since when did either ever demonstrate "scientific ideology". I want evidence please :)

Will in Aus said- "If there is watered-down non-religious sentiment in this movie/book, then let's bring on the harder stuff......I wanna see some really offended believers!"

Agreed! and why not a new movie (with exception of the typical horror movie types). You have films like Troy and Kingdom of Heaven that hinted the folly or abuse of religion, but I do not know of one that actually gets in close, face to face, and be anti-religious. I think any such film would be very easy to sell. Let the religious be the PR and marketing for the movie, and for free!

But seriously. Why do theists have such a hard time with fiction and reality?

For any next debate, how about a really simple question like where exactly is heaven? Is it closer to our galaxy or some remote galaxy? Maybe between Io and Jupiter? How about the Crab Nebula?

Can't remember who said this but...

"God is assumed false until proven true."

Quoting pages from the bible does not prove god exists. Only that a book mentions god. Show us some real physical evidence. I will be waiting ever so patiently for that evidence as we all have for many, many, many years. I wonder why it has taken so long for that evidence to arrive.

still waiting.

Can someone please post links relating to where in the US atheists are not allowed to vote? I have never heard of this and can not find any information supporting this.

Thank you.
