1. Hamas Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony

Comment #47539 by Machoduck on June 4, 2007 at 11:18 pm

"I feel sorry for the Palestinians. They seem forever doomed to more than their share of misery by their own hate-filled culture -- a glorification of killing and death fueled in large part by religion. They can never be rescued from themselves."

Yeah, but I don't feel any better for the Islaelis eigther. I mean, it was them who created the conflict, and allthough I do by no means support the Palestinians by ideaology, the DO actually have a more secular reson then the Israelis.

The Palestinians want to live there because they have allways done so.

The Israelis want to live there because their land was "given" to them by this god-character.

And also, on which side is the body count highest?
Which of the sideas are completely robbed from their natural resources?

I don't support any og them, but I am more *AGAINST* the Israelis...

2. I Believe In Evolution, Except For The Whole Triassic Period

Comment #46647 by Machoduck on June 1, 2007 at 2:31 am

It took some time for me to unerstand the satirical intentions of this... Creationist arguments are so pathetic it's hard to tell parodists and hard-core fanatic apart...

However, this was quite Oscar Wilde-ish. Witty and smart, and not actually funny.

3. What I Think About Evolution

Comment #46636 by Machoduck on May 31, 2007 at 11:55 pm

*SIGH!*

Just because religion was used as an explanation for natural phenomenon - BEFORE we ever had science - Religion cannot replace science in the cases wehen it proves religion wrong...

Saying religion and science could both work fully in a symbiosis, is like the idea of commu-nazism...

4. Diary of a Deserter

Comment #46635 by Machoduck on May 31, 2007 at 11:47 pm

Brian, you show a tremendous amount of bravery here!

It's such a great thing that you have realized that the whole JW shit is... well, shit.

Good luck coming out of the closet!

- May no god be with you

5. A Look at Regent University

Comment #46450 by Machoduck on May 31, 2007 at 9:31 am

"And these are the same people who would say Hesbala, and Hamas, and such are evil. I find that Ironic.Further proof there is no god."

Well, that's the whole doubble morality of (religious) faith. It claims to be only good but allows the evil done in it's name, and claims to be the only and ultimate truth, without ANY empirical evidence or rational thinking behind it...

6. Sam Harris Strikes Back

Bravo, Sam! Kudos to you!

Ypo totally pwned that n00b called Hedges...

7. Atheists: Get off of our country!

Comment #44586 by Machoduck on May 25, 2007 at 5:08 am

I raise my middel finger at this (insert word synonymous with female canine)!

If such ignorance, wrongthought and prejustice is common in the US, then no wonder it is such a retarded country. Yes - retarded. I really hope that it is loonies like this (insert word synonymous with female canine)who in the end, will cause the decay of the American civilization.

The Christian right, the NeoCons and Uncle Scrooge-like capitalists have allready caused the moral and cultural decay of that once great nation. I'm sure it won't take long before their echonomical and political power will disapear, and the proud American soil will be covered with the ashes of another fallen empire.

The Land of the Free decays from the inside...

8. Adam and Eve in the Land of the Dinosaurs

Comment #44548 by Machoduck on May 25, 2007 at 4:21 am

Too fucking sick. There is no science in this at all. Creationists say that evolution is unscientific and based upon blind faith (sic), but what the hell is then IG? I'd say that any theory based arround a god can't be called scientific...

A museum dedicated to childish myths, zealous hipocrisy and straight out lies... Indeed, America will implode.

11. The root of all evil?

Comment #43852 by Machoduck on May 23, 2007 at 12:58 am

"(...)Militant Atheism(...)"

Now, why the fark are so many suddenly using that term to define Dawkins, Hitchensand their ilk?

While somewhat rude, betterknowing and arrogant (at least in Hitchen's case), and though they are merciles in their verbal bombardment of religion, they are by no means "militant".

Militancy, as I've understood it, is encouraging violence and other harmful and destructive acts - and breed hate towards an enemy so that your followers will attack it. These standard bearers of Atheism does not do that.

Militancy is a group of angry islamic fundamentalists marcing arround, being generaly mad, wielding banners saying "Behead those who insult Islam". Militancy, and indeed doubble morale, is an American preacher who kills an abortion doctor because he had "killed" potential human life. (Even more ironic and doubble-moraled is that the preacher himself got sentenced to death.)THAT is encoraging violence, THAT is breeding hate. Any thinking human being would be able to distinguish between that and Christopher Hitchens saying "I am completely convinced that religion is the main source of hatered in the world."

I think I'll write an essay soon, defending these promoters of disbelief. I think I'll call it "In defense of thefaithless"...;)

12. The Paradoxical Hatred of Christopher Hitchens

Comment #42852 by Machoduck on May 20, 2007 at 1:51 am

"...I realized his anti-Christian and anti-theistic worldview is, for now at least, an insuperable barrier to any ideological transformation."

Yes, because having him on YOUR side would be a huge improvement...

I support Hitchens 100% in his critisizing of RJF. Yes, it IS extrmely rude, impolite and brutally voulgare, but Falwell deserves his grave spat upon like this.
And just the fact that Hitch dares to charge forward with some criticism, against the wast flow of praising this fundie crook gets after his death.. that just demands respect, and an aweful lot of it, wether you agree with Hitch or not...

"It's a bit sad that there's no hell he could go to" - priceless!

13. Freethinking Ruins All Things

Comment #42544 by Machoduck on May 18, 2007 at 11:12 am

The author of this article personifies everything I hate!

This man is such an utter disgrace to humanity, to everything we have accomplished, everything we have ever written written, thought, built, composed, designed and so on.

Everything this fundie, this man representing the lowest form and absolute scum of humanity, (excuse my malevolent word selection, but I'm just honestly expressing what I feel about this...) - everything he claims in this despiceful article, can be labeled as an extreme case of faeces originating from male cattle by asking a simple question:

Name one person, group or action that has brought significant, more-or-less positive change to this world, without any from of free thought?

.....

That's right. Nobody. Even his own big hero, Jesus, can be called a freethinker if you considder considder that his preachings and ideas were extremely radical for his time...

On the other hand, the list of freethinkers who have brought positive change to humanity, would be thousands of names long, begining with Socrates, and ending with men like Dawkins and Hitchens.

In fact, new and radical ideas, as a result of freethinking, is the only thing that has propelled mankind forwards. Without free thought, our modern, western civilization - as well as any other great ones - could never had existed.

It is idiots like this man who is the largest contributor to all the shit that is in this world.

It's a wonder why natural selection haven't killed this sort of bastards...

14. Christopher Hitchens to God: Drop Dead

Comment #42081 by Machoduck on May 17, 2007 at 3:17 pm

"Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Hitchens is stupid becasue he says the painful truth. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

And even worse, he disagrees with me, and has better arguments than I have. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah....

15. Faith-Based Fraud

Comment #42076 by Machoduck on May 17, 2007 at 3:11 pm

... And even more kudos to Chris!

Usualy, I think that the dead should be left alone - but this bastard, this fundamentalist SOAB, this religious hypacrate and large-scale biggot... He deserves every drop of spit that would land on his grave!

16. Hitchens on Falwell

Comment #41962 by Machoduck on May 17, 2007 at 11:15 am

Falwell was a c*nt.

I hope, to compansate for all the damage he's done in his life, suffered an extremely slow and painfull death.

And I do wish that he, allthough being dead, could be given a sort of conscionsness for a moment, just so that he could realize that he didn't end up in heaven after all...

Hitchens fired rapid a salvae of agressive and razor-sharp words straight into Falwell's dead face, and I only wish he was alive to experience it!

17. Statement of Concern about Impact of AIG's Creation 'Museum'

Comment #41368 by Machoduck on May 16, 2007 at 2:42 am

"I'm seriously considering it. I am so very sick of all the bs that goes on here."

Great, we have a lot of space, but we're a bit short on people. At least non-idiot people...

"How's the fishing in Scandinavia?"

Quite good - much better than Texas or Utah at lest!;)

But just so you know - living here isn't cheap. I guess a high amount of tax and insanely high prices on everything is a downer, but it's not that much if you considder what you get back...

18. Christopher Hitchens Explains It All for You: Move over, Sam Harris; another atheist wants the pulpit

Comment #41362 by Machoduck on May 16, 2007 at 2:21 am

"Hitchens knows this, and he has the decency to acknowledge the mind-bending atrocities committed by atheist governments such as existed in Stalin's Soviet Union and Pol Pot's Cambodia."

That has nothing to do with the fact that they were atheist. Nothing, and I really mean nothing, in atheism can justify or legitimate such horrible actions. I mean, where in "There is no god" does it say that it's totally ok to kill and torture people?

It must be remembered that Stalin, Mao, Hitler and Pol Pot were all posessed by strong, paranoid, dogmatic and inhumane political ideaologies that created a cult of personality that evolved into becoming almost god-like.

In adition, all of the mentioned tyrants had some kind of mental disorder with voilent, uncompassionate, psychopathic and intolerant tendencies, and they were all completely corrupted by the enormous power they posessed.

For instance, Stalin once felt a bit depressed and ordered a psychologist to come and have a conversation with him. The psychologist labeled Stalin as paranoid. One week later, he had suddenly died for mysterious reasons...

So using Uncle Adolph and the commies as a reason why atheism is bad, is a bit like... It's like saying heavy metal music is bad and makes you kill people becasue some guy who killed somebody was a metalhead - When fact is, he was a lonely, hatefull outcast with mental disorders
that had (mis)read Mein Kampf or the Communist Manifesto, found his father's gun and went on a killing spree...

Just scale it up a bit, and you have the Third Reich and the Soviet Union.

"There's a reason why people need salvation."

Yes, and that is most certainly a problem. We need this illution of salvation in order to keep our existance from being pointless. A lot of people need to live with the comfort that everything will be absolutely great after they die. That is because our pathetic human nature cannot cope with pointlessness and smallness.

But until these people realize they're wrong, let them live in their pretty little lies. I mean, just imagiene the riots if 5 billion people suddenly realized how pointless our existance is and how microscopically small and insignifficant we are in a universal scale...

19. Kirk Cameron Proves That God Exists

Comment #40007 by Machoduck on May 12, 2007 at 4:24 pm

I was really, really disapointed when I heard Cameron's argument - eherm, "100% Scientifical proof that God exists"...

This was becasue

a) It was by no means scientifical, as it is impossible to do research on any of it
b)It was not at all proof, it was just another agrument for that there is a god. God's existance cannot be proven or disproven, therefore, the best argument in the case should decide what is wrong and what is right. But NOOOO...
c) It's the oldest trick in the theist book... Since the universe has been created, there has to be a creator...

That argument is silly and inadequate becasue
a)If everything must come from somewhere, where did God come from? Did he create himself? Then, why can't we just say that the universe created itself? Has he allways existed? That totally contradicts the fact that everything must have its begining, and therefore makes creationism self-contradictive.
b) As it "proves" the existance of just A god in general, it legitimates the existance of ALL gods of creation, and does by no means say that the Christian god exists. It is just as much an "evidence" that the gods of Islam, Hinduism, Norse and- Greek mythology are real.

Should we then believe in all of them?

20. Defenders of Marriage

Comment #40004 by Machoduck on May 12, 2007 at 4:01 pm

Cool... But I almost have a problem getting the mesage in the song... It IS meant to speak for gay marige, right?

Because in that case, I like it.

If not, screw this guy.

I can't see why who you are sexually atracted to is an issue at all...

21. The meaning of freedom

Comment #40002 by Machoduck on May 12, 2007 at 3:55 pm

The burqa and niquab are quite inhuman, as they totally unporsonalizes the wearer...

For the sake of all the other kinds of headwear, I think the women could deal with that as they liked. If you find it uncorfortable, ugly depressing and so on, don't wear it. If you want to wear it to show cultural and religious belonging, then wear it. I don't care what people wear on their heads as long as it is an act of free will and it doesn't hurt anybody...

22. Ted Haggard Is Completely Heterosexual

Comment #39992 by Machoduck on May 12, 2007 at 2:36 pm

ROFL!

This is just ingenious.. and damn funny! Kudos to this guy...

23. Lou Dobbs w/ Hitchens on Al Sharpton's Bigoted Remark

Comment #39500 by Machoduck on May 11, 2007 at 1:59 am

"Yes, I have seen a short video clip of Romney claiming that Battlefield earth is his favorite book. Mormon or Scientologist????!!!!!!"

Can't he be both? That would make him twice the looney he allready is.
Yeah, he could be a sciento-mormon! Like believe that it was the evil lord Xenu who forced the tribes of Israel to flee to america...

But just one question about scientology... Why the *insert the name of an unpleasant imaginary place* were the frozen soul things dropped into the volcanoes of Hawaii and not into some sun?

Excrement of male cattle indeed...

24. World's most prominent atheist takes on the Biblical God (and other topics)

Comment #39388 by Machoduck on May 10, 2007 at 1:28 pm

Greeting people... I'm kinda new here, and this is my fist comment post. Here goes:

That movie gave me a strange feeling of unpleasantnes in my solar plexus and something resembeling the feeling you have right before you vommit as a taint in my throat.

I mean, I really like the kind of religious people who use great words and come with hugenormous and terribly stupid statements, because it gives me something to think about, it feeds my mind and sometimes helps me increasy my intellectual capasity and refine my belifs and opinions. The issue about the existance of a god is with no doubt the topic I've spent my time thinking about recently, and their jibber-jabber might give me a few more things to considder.

However, trigger-happy christians like this has no value at all to me. They are so focused on how much their god loves them, how happy they are, and the extremely bizzare pleasantness of salvation. They are so goddamn happy, and I sort of doubt if these people ever had suffered in their lives, because it seems like they have never seen the dark side of existance.

Seeing that stuff was like having somebody trying to force candyfloss into your mouth whilist smiling and talking about the freat weather. However, the candyfloss is made out of the darkest and most fibreless of human excrement, thinned out with twice it's amount in sugar...

So it may not be hard to imagiene that I didn't watch the whole thing...

And BTW, Voltaire wasn't an atheist. He believed in a god, but wasn't a practicing christian...
