Geert Wilders again....
I've said it before and I'll say it again. The guy is a hypocritical bigot.
Muslim extremism is bad, but when it come to christianity(Or the Judeo-Christian tradition as he likes to call it), then everything is fine.
*Sigh*

I wouldnt be happy with this guy, if I were you guys.
I live in the Netherlands and this guy is nothing more then trouble. He is a bigot and an even bigger hypocrite. He just as worse as the people he is trying to fight.
He is praises the Judeo-Christian culture for being so remarkably tolerant and that it is our true culture. But anyone who has been paying attention know that the Netherlands became famous for its freedom of speech when there were just secular parties in its government and secularism(Good old '90) reigned supreme.
The secular culture has brought tolerance in the Netherlands, not the Judeo-Christian culture.

And ofcourse there will be no consequences, because there is even a politcal evangelical party(Christen Unie/Christian Union) in the government, at the moment.
There was also a gift(About € 300.000) from the dutch government to a religious movement.
Even in a secular/liberal state like the Netherlands, seperation of church(Which isnt in our constitution :() evangelicals are taking over.
6. CNN Request for 'I-Reports' on religion

@ scooternyc; It was directed to the one who posted it and to the repliers. It's obviously aimed for people with faith, not without.
The poster suggests, that the CNN article implies that faith is normal, but the article doesnt. The poster needs to read better.

People need to learn to read.
"Are you one of the millions of people who live by faith? Do you believe religion is under attack in modern society? Have the lines blurred too much or not enough between religion and politics?"
I think it says enough about the commenter reading skills.
8. Interview with Ayaan Hirsi Ali

I am not here to defend Islam, but the comparision she makes is heavily flawed.(The case Christian killing an abortion doctor and Muslims killing a couple)
The reason that the Muslims weren't convincted, wasn't because of Islam, but was because there is no seperation between chruch and state in Iran.
Saying that because Islam requires submission and Christianity doesn't is missing the point. All faith requires submission, submission of the intellect.
The reason that all Christians don't take the old testament(Atleast the bad parts) to the letter is more cultural issue then a religious one. The Arabic world missed the Enlightment and that's the real issue at hand.
Her conclusions are simplistic and are just simply missing the point.
