1. Louisiana's latest creationism bill moves to House floor

Comment #185484 by Scandinavian07 on May 27, 2008 at 11:11 pm

"At the hearing in the House committee, Caroline Crocker, CEO of the Intelligent Design and Evolution Awareness (IDEA) Center, "said Darwinian evolution is outdated and doesn't explain new findings in science."

Could someone please give me those findings? I've been looking for them since the age of 16, and I guess must be reading the wrong material.

Hmm, "IDEA", sounds alot like IKEA.. I always get lost in those places. No wonder they're confused.

2. My Response to Rabbi Shmuley Boteach

I used to debate people who have the tendency to raise their voices and shout.

Well, it was in kindergarden but I guess some people just stick to it because it seems to work.

3. Sexpelled: No Intercourse Allowed

Don't underestimate the audience of "expelled". Was it not the Kinsey report that documented that a shocking amount of grown ups believed that children could be born without sexual intercourse? Well, it was the 50's.. but still..

Ayaan will be on next week.

Good stuff!

Wish Dawkins could have been on the panel.

6. EXPELLED!

Wow, stopping people because of their ways of thinking.

Next thing will probably be book burnings.

Ben Stein used to be a writer for the Nixon administration did he not?

7. Debate between Richard Dawkins and Madeline Bunting

Comment #127039 by Scandinavian07 on February 14, 2008 at 6:14 pm

This discussions seems to me to bring up the notion of "growing up". In my eyes Madeleine seems to still believe in the Santa I believed in as a child.

I find this to be true in all these debates.

If you see a bright ligth getting bigger and you do not know what is, do not start a conversation with it, RUN!

8. The Pagan Christ

Comment #103267 by Scandinavian07 on December 24, 2007 at 8:25 pm

Wow, I Love it.

If some fundamentalist freak went on a time travel back to the time "Jesus" did his teaching it whould have been fun to see that persons face:

If he had yelled "Jesus" on the street, no one whould have known who he/she meant.

If he had yelled "Yeshua" 20 people whould probably approach him/her.

"jeesus" (English voice) and "Jeso" (Latin) are even completely different ways of talking.

The entire story is SO full of holes and nonsense.

9. Richard Dawkins on 'Have Your Say'

Comment #95895 by Scandinavian07 on December 9, 2007 at 12:32 pm

It was seriously revealing. None of the people who asked questions seemed to have read ANY of Dawkins books.

Painfully clear.

10. Turkey probes atheist's 'God' book

Comment #91659 by scandinavian07 on November 28, 2007 at 11:07 pm

Wow, ..

but this might actually become a good thing, as the book will get more attention in the muslim world.

I had aconversation with a muslim student at the university here in Oslo. He actually mixed Dawkins and Darwin saying that The origin of species was full of lies. He admitted to not having read "Darwins thoughts on paper" because he knew the truth.

I am now officialy scared of loosing the humanist values my country has been struggling for the last 50 years.

Muslim men (ofcourse) from the biggest political parties here in Norway now refuse to comment on, and take a stand against capital punishment for acts of homosexuality.

I feel that we are currently becoming so tolerant that we tolerate intolerance here in Europe.

11. CNN Debate on Koran in Toilet

Comment #60463 by Scandinavian07 on August 2, 2007 at 2:28 am

WOW! This interview is SO revealing.

It shows us what we have thought for a long time.

Hooper sees thru the eyes of world view made to oppose christianity (muslim). When they start talking to people who are not religious they have no idea how to answer, they know NOTHING about the real world. They think secular law is there because god made it.

The entire interview was a total embarrasment for all religious people. One of the first interviews of this kind with an Anti Theist and he just beats the crap out of all religious "logics". And he did it without almost any speaking time.
