1. Richard Dawkins replies to Libby Purves

Why have my comments on page 3 been deleted? They were not offensive to anyone.

Very poor show from whomever was concerned. A bit of self examination is not allowed, I take it.

Appalling.

Who do I contact to get an explanation for being censored?

2. Richard Dawkins, the naive professor

Guys and gals,

Why don't you go to the times website and leave your comments there? There's only so many times I can read the same point written slightly differently.

Instead of agreeing with each other all day long, why don't you take the arguments to the source?

Despite visiting the site at least twice a day, I think I've only made three or four posts.

I'm a regular contributor on faith central (the times), and if there's one thing that's needed over there, it's some bloody rationality!!

Richard, you especially would love some of the contributors. If ever you need a "not my god"
counter argument, I suggest linking to "Faith Central"

Ascaphus - That's for you.

I have to say I'm a fan of the colbert report, even as a Brit. I download the shows on a weekly basis and enjoy catching up at the weekend.

AtheistJon - I think we're all guilty of taking life (and ourselves) a little too seriously. Can't you can't enjoy a satirical dig at the ludicrousness of the American right?

Political comedy is always agenda-biased, or do you very much dislike Bill Hicks and George Carlin, too?

Try and find the episode when Dinesh D'souza is a guest, guaranteed raise a smile.

If Jesus is real and wants me to be saved he can damn well tell me himself! Why leave it up to fellow believers?

How very, terribly British of you.

If I get to Hell first, I'll have a nice cup of tea waiting for you. Bring a Rich Tea, there's a good chap.

Do you know what's really odd? I didn't hear one Judas Priest record in the background. Hell, my arse.

If something feels like Purgatory, looks like Purgatory, smells like Purgatory and burns like Purgatory..............It's proababaly Purgatory
