South Park is a satirical cartoon, but that doesn't mean that every single joke has to be satirical. A lot of South Park's humour comes from absurdity or shock. I think the satirical elements of that episode with Richard was, among other things, the notion that five-hundred years in the future, when religion no longer exists, humans will still find something to fight about -- something pathetic to fight about (what should atheists call themselves). Richard buggering Mr. Garrison is not satire, it's just funny for its absurdity, if it's funny at all.
I think the same goes for much of this rap video.

Whenever I see things like this, Sam's argument that we shouldn't call ourselves atheists becomes more convincing.

Some awkward moments there for Chris (what was that bit about the Rodham brothers about?), but still entertaining for the most part.
