1. All the mistakes of the godly are merely metaphor

Mr. Kleiman obviously sees no difference between "smart" and "infallible".

2. Physician, Heal Thyself

As a doctor, I am embarrassed, ashamed and outraged by the actions of these beasts. This is absolutely incredible. However, there is no shortage of less extreme cases, such as doctors refusing to discuss contraception on religious grounds.

3. Christopher Hitchens and Al Sharpton

If I ever had access to Mr. Sharpton, there is a book that I would recommend he should read. It is "The Comprehensible Cosmos" by Victor Stenger, in which he explains that the laws of physics comes from...nowhere. They are all the mathematical consequences of a few basic assumptions, like symmetry in space and conservation of matter.

4. Hitchens vs. Hitchens

Having listened to this, I have to wonder whether Peter Hitchens is in favor of stoning punishment for homosexuality.
By the way if he thinks no one has ever taken up his challenge I think there is a book that he should read. It is called the God Delusion.

5. An Inquisition in science's name

Dear Mr. Manning,
I had a personal encounter with Dawkins. Like you, I did not, and do not, have a positive opinion of him.
During that encounter, I used language that resembled yours closely; in fact, like you, I told him that he could be right or wrong, and he might find out later, but he should not be arrogant.
Today, however, the whole world knows that I was the arrogant, cynical, hypocrite one, not Dawkins.
As a person who has already been there and done that, I would advise you to watch your step, not to repeat my mistakes.

Respectfully yours,
Ted Haggard

6. Interview with Richard Dawkins

The same person also said something like "God is your heart, not in your mind".
I would have said to that: I am sure the followers of Brahma and Apollo would tell you the same thing.
I also liked it when RD told him: people should give you a wide breadth!

7. Richard Dawkins: Atheist

Bonzai, what are you talking about? I saw no sign of Dawkins backtracking. And yes, by telling us that belief in the absence of evidence(i.e. faith)is a virtue, the moderates do pave the way for extremists.
