1. Enough religion. Stop shoving it down my throat

As much as I aprove of the quote
"nobody, ever, has the right not to be offended."
This article feels wrongfooted to me. The main complaint of the current state; "the decline in the practice of religion should be met with such a rise in reference to it" is counterproductive. Surely no one here, especially reading this section of the website's news, should argue that the disgraces of religion and its bad effects should not be covered by the news.
Does anyone here for example think that the 2 news stories given with links are not worthy of attention?
An archbishop who's a prominent local critic (an endangered breed) of the current despot of Zimbabwe being accused of adultery (incidentally by state controlled media), which at the very least has political significance.
A discussion on whether muslim faith schools should be encouraged with government funding, as they are being now.
Or maybe everyone would like a nice article about Big Brother.

Actually this is a much better article on circumcision in males and AIDs:

In regards to male circumcision, it is most definitely not the same thing as female circumcision, the procedure is not as dangerous, sexual feeling or desire is not affected (once healed) and there are some good reasons for doing it later in life like conditions such as phirmosis which are extremely common.
Also along my travels I've read about medical benefits such as lessening the liklihood of catching AIDs see below:

If you don't want to read that it basicly says that in a double blind study on the relativity of circumcision and AIDs in Africa the study had such strong statistical evidence that they ended it short to circumcise the other participants.
Remember pragmatism before idealism.
