So if someone wanted to make a film about priests molesting little boys or burning people at the stake, they would allow the use of their churches because it's actually factual?

I'm afraid it's too late to not associate Republicans with religious fanatics. That's been the case since Reagan took power 27 years ago. Calling Democrats names does not erase the fact that Republicans have habitually pandered to the extreme religious right for decades.

It's one thing to pretend to be religious, as all politicians do, and quite another to appoint judges that would break down the separation of church and state.
