Why do people keep accusing Maher of misogyny?
Are we talking about the misogyny of the Taliban or the over sensitive radical feminists definition of misogyny?
I don't know why he comes in for such stick. He has a great show and even though I know this is an athiest website wacky ideas about medicine doesn't exactly make him a bad guy. I thought he was an antithiest like Hitch.

Whats wrong with the comedy central site, it keeps threatening to show me the clip then showing me the most annoying cheverolet advertisment over and over again. Whenever I click play on the clip it shows the crap ad then moves on to the next clip, which also wont play. I just get the ad over and over. It's driving me mad.

Heh, this is great. I was surprised by some of the other scientists there, namely Joan Roughgarden - she struck me as being a bit wishy-washy, but I suspect that she might've been nervous around some of the people there. Dawkins did a good job at dismantling her arguments, though.
And hearing him say 'fuck off' was hilarious...I know it was a quotation, but still!
6. Public school teacher tells class: 'You belong in hell'

What are you all so afraid of? If this teacher is so far off base, what are you so worried about? A large number of the Christian community believes that Atheism is as much a religion, well a religion of non-religion, as Christianity. I'd agree that the teacher lacks a great deal of tact, but if he doesn't believe in Darwin, whom Atheists seem to worship, isn't it his American right to speak his thoughts? If you disagree with his biblically informed thoughts, fine, you have that right; teach your kids about evolution and Atheism. But, if his biblically founded thoughts are so false, what will it hurt for your kids to hear his point of view? The state requires certain things be taught, your students will hear about your beloved Darwin under the guise of science, so what's the big deal?

Oh...my...god. This is a trip. Someone's got a schoolgirl crush on Dawkins. I've seen EVERYTHING. Ack. And I do agree that maybe Ted Haggard might've had a thing for him...that would be hilarious.
8. Dawkins Delusion (3rd article, Same Stupid Title)

Wow...this McGrath guy is really obsessed by Dawkins, or he wouldn't have come out with two books with his name in the title: 'Dawkins' God' and 'The Dawkins Delusion'. Does he have anything else to say that isn't just Dawkins-bashing?
