Until we see it in at least one other western democracy we will not see it it in the US.

I read somewhere that Trudeau (Canadian PM 68-79) was an Agnostic. He held his spiritual cards close to his chest, so there has been a lot of speculation about his faith.

I see this story as being about abuse of power (see other stories in news recently about the visit to the US of the leader for another evil empire). Religion ascribes false authority and makes abuse of power that much more possible.
