She hoped that an Islamic country would adopt the project to strengthen the belief that Mecca was the core of the world, not theoretically but practically.


She does understand that the Earth is a sphere (more or less). That makes the core a very hot place.

These people really are nuts.

I'm very disappointed that the paper edition of The Guardian has printed no feedback on this rubbish. There have been no letters published either yesterday or today.

In defence of The Guardian's journalists Mark ravenhill is a 'playwright' not a Guardian staffer.
