A worldview can reflect the actual world, so it is not 'merely' a product of the mind, which itself is an emergent property caused by actual conditions of this world.

Fundamentalists understand laws in this biblical sense and not in the way physics understand laws as natural conditions of the universe produced by the Big Bang.

The questions begs an accidental nature when in fact the solar system is ordered by gravitional forces allowing for our planet to be in a position to support life.

Altruistic genes. We care for others because we want them to care about us. The gene survives. Idiologies attempt to change, alter or manipulate that human feature.

By reading The Origin Of Species (1859).

Especially Chapter 9: On the Imperfection of the Geological Record.

The original question begs that the record is perfect to begin with. Darwin showed why it was not... over 100 years ago.
