"I watched a documentary on Mark Twain couple nights ago, and he had some deep, deep, dark, dark bouts of melancholy about this fucking country, and the shit was way worse back then, but he never pussed out and ran away to Denmark."

Thanks for the reality check. What was the Mark Twain documentary? I think I need to curl up with some Mark Twain ITVNF. *Roughing It* is a personal fave, but I'm open to suggestions.

This brings to mind the bumper sticker: " Insanity is hereditary - You get it from your children". I am the parent of two autistic teens BTW.

I notice Scientology didn't seem to want to have anything to do with someone with no cash. That was my experience with them as well. Still, surprised The Onion didn't get off at least a dig, unless they didn't want be bothered with the obligatory lawsuit.

*Oh, nobody wants to thrash on about Freud?*

Sung to the tune of "What's Love Got to Do With It?":

What's Freud got to do with it?
What's Freud but an obsolete old gasbag?

*I realise that this is just an anecdote but I did some research and found that there are many accounts of identical twins with similar stories.*

As always, the plural of anecdote is not evidence. There are many accounts of Bermuda Triangle disappearances, UFO abductions, and Miraculous Bleeding/Crying Statues. None of these pass the basic skeptic smell test, and neither does the *Mysterious Psychic Twin Connection* meme.
