great letter! this with the previous pz letter should be the fatal one-two punch to any hilter/darwin argument.
reminds me in high school - the christian kids would bully my friends and i for not attending church and being non beleivers by telling others we were devil worshipers. trying to explain to them that they were the one who beleived in the devil not us, never went over well.
christians coming to terms with the accurate history of ANYTHING has never been a strong suit.

you cant make a tumor go away by ignoring it. lets keep bringing these groups forward for everyone to gawk at and be accountable for the beliefs they have in common with said group.
mr phelps and his brood may seem like an oddity but there are other groups out there...the crazy evangelicals in 'jesus camp' or the crazy pentecostal in 'hell house' scare me but they've been exposed for the wack jobs they are. they don't pose the same threat as the countless churches preaching the same hate filled scripture under the guise of gods love and purpose.
then brainwashed saps like MissC77 comment as though the above mentioned groups have the right idea theyre just going about it all wrong. as though Hilter had the right message his methods were a just bit too overt. you have to be more subtle about your bigotry.
i proudly enable everyone to be themselves and think for themselves -- id much rather be a fag-enabler than a hate-enabler.
