There is another possibility. Big brains allow for multipal personalities, Multipal Personalities means hearing voices in your head.
That's what 'we' think.

In responce to Comment #168161 by Luthien, and my initial comment about handing out non-religious books. I agree, 'The God Delision' is a book about religion, and could even be described as religious, so should not be handed out, but 'The Blind Watchmaker' would be far better. It is simply about science. I would love to hear any ID-iots try to argue in court that it is religious.

Let me see if I (a Brit), have this right. In the U.S, you cannot preach/promote religion in state schools, even teaching 'about' world religions (plural) is discouraged because it may be mistaken for preaching religion, yes? onsequently hhanding out free religious books in schools is not allowed... So handing out non-religious books should be OK... (you can probably guess where this is leading...) you can not get much more non-religious than books like 'The God delision", Or 'The Blind Watchmaker'.
(Have I just evolved an argument to exploit a niche?)

This is one of the most scaryist things I have ever read. After thinking about it for a few hours, I hope it is an April-fools day joke. If it is, it is not funny.
Assuming it is true, it hit me that it is an issue I would be prepared to fight for and I tend to be a bit of a passivist. As Bugs-Bunny would say "This,,, means War!".
Perhaps a more diplomatic stratergy would be to register anything and everything as a religion, even Athieism. (a lot of relgious nutters think it already is) and so claim all the benefits. A sort of 'make tea, not war' stratagy.

I can scarcely think of a more stupid idea than dunking a baby in water then simply declaring it a christian.

I also liked it. Sure it would have been nice if it were longer with moree detail, but for 60 seconds, it was OK. (Not being an expert, I assume it was correct) it does remind me of one of my favorite sayings, 'A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, No knowledge is absolutely lethal.'
