Vicky: "Can you turn the camera off, just for a few minutes?"
Samuel's parents firmly believe disobedience deserves punishment.

Vicky: "I do believe in the bible, I believe the bible says 'spare not the rod on your child
and do my children get spankings? Yes. I wish they were perfect little angels and never needed it."

I wonder how much critical thinking is a part of little Samuel's upbringing. Do parents have the right to brainwash their kids in this way and keep them away from formal education? I will hazard a guess as to how old he believes the world is, etcetera. Nauseating.
