1. Cult leader Pyotr Kuznetsov tries suicide after realising he was wrong about doomsday

Bonzai

P.S. How did you know that whoever was RM's alter ego? I wouldn't have guessed.
Wasn't all that difficult - until he deleted all his posts. When speaking as the sockpuppet "Diogenes2008" he referred to something he had said, forgetting (liars should NEVER forget) that he had said it as Richard Morgan.
Dr Benway may be bright, but she ain't telepathic.
Oh, and you won't be hearing from either RM or the sockpuppet again.
"They" know when "they"'re out of "their" depth.

(Deeply sorry for having offended Steve Zara, but when the emotions run too high people do regrettable things...
Steve Zara is a remarkable person, intellectualy and morally.)
Adieu - mes amis et mes ennemis.

EDIT Since I provoked this debate with a comment that has long since disappeared into the ether, as a last word, Diacanu (whose posts would be remarkably brief without the word "fuck") went on a rant (like some others) that completely missed the point of my initial objection.
I'm supposed a pity a motherfucker who tries to spread that kind of harm on the world?
I never even so much as hinted that anybody should pity this guy.
I just expressed my difficulty with the spontaneous show of mockery and jeers, and its predictability.

as Dr Benway says so eloquently : WTF...

Jesus of Nazareth
He's got a name and an address for God? He might be onto something.

3. Richard Dawkins on The Alan Colmes Show

Bonzai :

My impression of RD is that he is a brilliant man who knows a lot about grand ideas, but probably not enough about people, and he is also a very privileged man.
Excellent post. You said things that needed to be said.
But I don't think Richard Dawkins has ever claimed to be perfect, and in his writings he frequently talks about having to leave psychology to the psychologists and Sock Puppets to the Sock Puppeteers (thank you Steve Zara).
But what Richard Dawkins apparently lacks in his understanding of human nature is more than compensated by the overall impact of his work and writings.
From what I have read hear thus far, Dawkins has extremely capable lieutenants with a deep and sensitive understanding of human nature - I think of epeeist, Bonzai himself, Paula Kirby and others.

Steve Zara - a man who refers to String Theory and Sock Puppets on a site inspired by Evolution and Reason is a rare and fascinating person!
I look forward to reading more.
