3. Dumb and Dumber: A discussion between Ben Stein and Glenn Beck

So i see they're still arguing the evolution = hitler stuff on that vids comment section..

I don't understand this argument at all... What the argument is saying is that IF evolution EQUALS evil THEN evolution EQUALS false... which is obsured!

For the sake of argument, let's say that evolution leads to nazism, racism and bloody murder, so what?! Evolution isn't an ism, it's a phenomenon!

Just - like - gravity. But we don't hear people arguing that we shouln't teach Newtons theory of gravity in schools because it leads to plane crashes and suicides from high buildings!

And i don't like that some evolutionists, like Richard Dawkins, are joining in on the debate with arguments that NO, evolution wasn't the cause of nazism...

That argumentation will to the general public look like an acceptance of the premise that if evolution leads to bad things (like nazism) then it must be wrong.

4. Religion is 'the new social evil'

I would say, superstition is the biggest problem and in superstition religion is included.

In west, USA not included, almost nobody goes to church anymore other than for weddings and funerals. But we're still superstitious... New age crap, talking to "spirits", westernised buddhism, etc etc... that is a huge problem.

Who listens to a child preacher? God himself waited until he was 30 according to the bible...

I don't see why it's important if Hitler was or wasn't a atheist or if Nazism was or wasn't a cause of evolution.

Evolution is a fact and can't be falsified by the claim that it lead to Nazism. Even if it did, even if there where a clear connection between the two, that doesn't make evolution less true.

If Hitler was an atheist, so what? He also was a man, a vegetarian and didn't drink alcohol. Does that mean we all should eat meat, drink heavely and do a sexchange?
