That is not a valid statement for scientific or responsible debate. It uses a faith arguement which ends conversation.
2. What are your qualifications to question religion anyway? Just who are you?

I don't think that I am questioning religion, you can't prove a negative. I am instead defending science.

4. My Response to Rabbi Shmuley Boteach

I've been watching Rabbi Shmuley Boteach's debates and it appears he is yet another of the many who seem to try and make up for lack of knowledge on a subject by using appeals to work over the audience. The truth is, you don't have to like something for it to be true, and more often still the truth is sometimes uncomfortable.
Denying biological evolution is both a rejection of rationalism and a tell tale sign of lack of education on the topic. The body of evidence is beyond overwhelming. A good place to start if you interested in learning more is NCSEWEB.org.
I think you can tell a lot about people by who they align themselves with. Boteach is another of Oprahs minions, of which Oprah is the self proclaimed expert on every subject. It fits that Boteach would act the same.
I'm a little concerned that Richard Dawkins used Hitler in comparison to Boteach's screeching. He does screech and not only is it an easy thing to take a cheap shot at but it is tempting. However, the truth is there is no way to know that Hitler would have been proud of it or that he would even agree with Boteach. More likely Hitler would have simply wanted him dead. So I don't like the statement.
I am glad however the Boteach was motivated into actually responding instead of using appeals and humorous stories to get the audience laughing.
