Richie, tell us a story about the monkey.
Richie replies, "Okay, but don't ask me anything complicated"

Richie wants there to be a muli-universe. Why? So, he can fall in love with himself all over again. Ahh, wouldn't that be so sweat. And they could skip through the woods together.... It be the perfect match while you guys bow down before him... 123 Richie! Also how come the only answers I get from people one here 'oh, look at his english' or 'read a book' but nothing ever informative. Interesting, we need to get out of the but-sniffing stages of science... richie seams to be stuck there

"1st rule: You do not talk about mathematics"

I thought this was the smart team. No one guessed it.... But you all get an A for effort. Hi five.

Most important rule of the mathmatics, and it is a rule,-first thing we learn-is to take what we know and simplify. Oooh, ahhhh. Why is this important? Why? Because if we do not follow simple rule then we get lost in the equation and we come up with wrong answer. Richie, he takes what is known and tries to complicate-talks about other universes with flying pigs in them or something-because he say; well I don't like answer. Ahh, but this don't change answer Richie. Any who; so maybe we write out equation; then we proof it... we know how to proof right richie because we are awesome at the calculus, no? Then what do you say-the numbers don't lie richie, you argue with the numbers?-We wouldn't even do it for our own glory. Peace guys

Still waiting for answer! No one has guessed as of yet-we can do this. This is not the Fourier series here. Simple stuff guys. We have to put our heads together. It's kindergarden stuff. I'm going to go work in the garden now. Ooooh... I hope Richie answers it; woun't that be a treat guy! We can also start to do some muse alittle-some presynaptic, postsynaptic push ups if you will, and study say-transfinite induction. Ohhh... Good stuff guys.

I post this here to so we can all collectively ponder this!
What is the first rule of the mathematics? What is the first thing we learn... Come on guys; we have to put are heads together here. OK, now we ponder this rule... it can not be broken and I can explain why later after listen to the musing of our minds for awhile. Richie breaks this rule big time in his argument... big time. I hope we all have a good day

Richie blushes; covers his mouth and says "oopsy"

Roland_F are you telling me about a linux platform? We know what polynomial time is, no? We understand the mathmatics correct? Good, hi five! We undstand the traveling salesman promlem, no? Give you second to think... OK, if you can solve one in polynomial time, you can solve them all polynomial time. Fancy stuff, right? Awesome stuff. I'm talking about quantum computation and you tell me about a linux platform... We went from monkey to penguin-small joke-don't have time to explain. I can see you are one of Richie's little puppets. Why not Richie answer question?

One last thing Richard-something that makes me sad for you-there is no mulit-universe.... There isn't one

Comment #215251 by Kristopher on July 21, 2008 at 2:37 pm

In order to test the muli-universe... you would have to build a computer that really doesn't have any applications... what do we do; factor numbers all day? It would cost so much money and time to build... for something that most probably won't work and it doesn't have any applications. This puts you in a bit of a pickle. Just to let you in on a little secret Richie.... The RSA algorithm isn't really used anymore! You have to start backing your claims. One could say, that it could predict the complex folding of amino acids-one could say this. We would have to harness the GHZ state, quantum tunneling, EPR effect and quantum parallelism. One could imagine this, but that not make it real. We have to stop talking about the monkey and get down to the niddy-griddy.

If I show up at one of Richard's lectures and ask him some pretty basic questions-not even asking for the math-is this how I will be treated? It's a shame... but I will continue to try to love much

I quickly ask a question because Richie does not have answer. Not only that but he is a proponent of the multi-universe.... So, something that is improbable to happen once; now Richie claims it to of happen an infinite amount of times. You need to explain the impossible, Richie, before we can consider you a scientist! I love you Richie

If I am being arrogant; I apologies. Sometimes I get a little nervous. The only way to test the many worlds approach; is through quantum computation. The problem with quantum computation is-one of the major problems-is decoherence. This I believe was the agorithm put forth by Doctor David Deutsch. If a quantum computer was built-which is highly unlikley; almost impossable-it would need about 1 billion qubits-I believe. So far one company claims to of build one with 16 quibits and doesn't harness the EPR effect; so one can conclude, that it's not a quantum compuer at all. Sorry about the spelling. I tell you this because I am afraid for you-I know what you know not. I repent for my arrogance... there was no excuse for it.

First, we have to relize that he did not come for the ritchoues... there would be no need. Infact, Matthew, he was a tax collect, he was not even allowed in church in first century Palestine. Don't side with Richard, he doesn't know and he is siding with God's enemy. Then maybe he go be with his god, then it's not so funny anymore. Read the steps below.
Why are the weak surviving?
We admitted we were powerless over our addiction - that our lives had become unmanageable
Step 2 - Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity
Step 3 - Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood God
Step 4 - Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves
Step 5 - Admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs
Step 6 - Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character
Step 7 - Humbly asked God to remove our shortcomings
Step 8 - Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all
Step 9 - Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others
Step 10 - Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it
Step 11 - Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood God, praying only for knowledge of God's will for us and the power to carry that out
Step 12 - Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other addicts, and to practice these principles in all our affairs

And why is that?.

I was not a good person growing-I did more wrong than most anyone on here. My mother prayed without ceasing for me. I did so much wrong that I was afraid-you have no idea-that if there was a God, he would hate me. So, I began to pray and God graced-I don't know why. I saw miracles unfold before my very eyes. Doctor Roger Penrose, he say, "It Non-algorithmic process of the mind." No, it's a soul. Gerald Edelman's work; there is truth to it; but it's not the truth. The unfathomable truth is-if you really want to know-the God that has always been; is a God who humbled himself to death on a cross as a ransom for many. That's the truth.

"As the Bush administration, religion is based on fear."

You are right sir. You see, I don't put faith in what other people have done. This is a big misconception. Let's just suppose-in deep abstact thought-that I know things you don't know. So now I try to tell you. When the soul leaves the body; I promise, I woun't feel gradified... I will feel sorry for you, but you wanted to rebel to the very end. I make a promise-I try not to lie-that that will happen. Maybe I take a polygraph and a physiological test; then I hand you the results! Then you say, 'this is wrong; this is not an objective science'. this is part of the problem; when a scientist doesn't get the results that he wants-he says the science is wrong. The number-they don't lie. You are smarter than me Richard-way smarter-but you see; I already know that you are wrong. Peace

What do you do if religion is gone. and people still kill one another? Then we say to self, "Oh, I guess religion is not root of all evil; Richard, why do you lie to us?" Then we redirect our cognitive abilities and we ask simple question, "What is root of all evil?" Some would say pride. Hmm, interesting. Richard is filled with this. Rememeber, I love you all; peace be with you.

Before I go; I just have to share this.
"Stay steadfast in your faith and love one another"-Saint Perpetua, her last words and then they killed her

This is one of my favorite ones: "I long desired and expected this happy hour"-The apostale andrew at his execution.

"For Christ, I am perpared to suffer still more"-Father Maximilian Kolbe, he wasn't a hypocrit, he did suffer, the Nazis starved him to death.

ArchBishop Ã"scar Arnulfo Romero "Thou stall not kill." They shot him on the alter. Infact the communist killed 30,000.

In thier names, and in the name of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. You stop. You are spitting on thier grave

I will stop now. Many Christians spend thier whole life in sevice to others. Why don't we hear about many of them? Because they don't do it for thier own glory. Why do you call them root of all evil? You take careful look at them... maybe they visit your grandmother in the nursing home-when you didn't feel like going. You see. Take careful look. Hopefully someone on here knows how to think with thier heart and not with thier mind.

Also, we should probably jot this down in our notebook. No one died for the tooth fairy or santa claus. 70,000,000 people simply gave thier life for the God that comes out of the Gospel. Freely gave thier life. And you try to defile thier name. Why do you do that? I know people Richard; that are relgious-that would give thier life for you. So, it is probably best to not mock thier God. You see. They went out and sealed it; with their own blood

That's your rebuttal; spelling erros? That's your only answer Richard when given questions you don't have answers to. Like, only a creationst or religious person would say such a thing but that's not an answer. You see! Why don't you be honest with people and just tell them your real agenda. To sell books, to make lectures, and to raise your name. You don't have a righteous cause. You have self serving thinking. What can I say so I can stand in front of the mirror and flex. Right

Judaism does things to honor a tradition? Judaism is a monotheism: This doctrine expresses the belief in one indivisible God. I am sorry to be rude, but I can not listen to people who don't even know the facts; they look foolish. I can't listen; seriously, it is filled with fallacies. We know Richard; business as usual. We don't want any information that would not fit the agenda; right.

"isn't it remarkable that almost everyone has the same religion as their parents"
9 million Mexicans converted to Catholicism in the 1500 hundreds. In 1950 there were 1 million Christians in China; by 2003 there were 100 million Christians there. All of whom took on a faith that they were not born into. The list goes on and on. I can cite them too. Just don't lie Doctor: it's not very nice.
