Yes, their religion says that women should dress MODESTLY, (I think the veil and all goes a bit far on this issue) but it also says women should not be educated as they are not worthy of it. So in a way the article is right. Banning the veil in school is a non-issue given that their beliefs should prevent the girls going to school in the first place. Muslims seem to be right up their with their pick-and-mix beliefs as Christians.

Religion is just bizzare and so hypocritical!

I have been doing a lot of reading into Islam and have found it to be the most inane, shocking and implausible religion ever devised by man (an illiterate one too)! He contradicts himself SO often that its frightening!

There are so many people in this world that try to say that Islam is a religion of peace when even a cursory glance at the Koran and the Hadiths should terrify every sane man on this planet! Mind you Muslims are explicitly told by the Koran to lie about their true intentions and always tell people that they are peaceful. Muslims are actually denounced in their wondrous Koran for being peaceful and promised Hell for not taking up the sword!

All I can do is cheer for this lady and am glad that she is alive and well!

I used to work with someone from Carlisle that did. Luckily he moved off to the USA. He was a young earth believer. He even got rid of his TV as it was showing material that contradicted his world viewpoint and was destroying the minds of his kids with its blatant lying against God! I think it was when his kids were watching a program about fossils that he decided to get rid of it. They were beginning to ask too many questions!
