"I'm sick of you mocking us Christians. Why do you never take the mickey out of Muslims?".

Jasper relied "Because they'd kill me."

Freedom of speech does not end when it offends someone. It should only end when it incites violence.

Let's all just die in mud huts at the age of 40 of easily cured diseases...

I wonder whether such arguments would still exist if their lives (or lives of their offspring) depended upon the gene therapy that they would condemn.

I really fail to see how anyone could class these arguments as "immature".

They seem very well thought out, well structured and better communicated arguements than I ever heard in my youth as a Roman Catholic.

To point out another flaw in the extract. I personally do not miss God. Certainly not as much as Santa Claus.

I was led to believe that Santa Claus left me presents on the 25th of December. I was also led to believe that God condemned me for playing with the presents instead of going to Church.

Needless to say I was glad to see the back of the old misery some years back.
