This man Wilson seems to me to be on a mission. Good thing is though, since the publication of Richards great book the religious seem to be going on the defensive. Why are they so worried. ??

I Love QI. One of the most entertaining progs on TV. Don't like Davies to much though. Stephen Fry is eloquent and intelligent and witty. Jo Brands joke about shouting out Mythmus when men cum was very good. She is also a Crystal Palace fan so she is OK in my book.
Merry Mythmas everyone!

Yeah right, The bible provides us with morals and a good way of life. Tell that to the victims of 9/11. All the people murdered by the Christians through the years. This Christolopolithan thingy lot are a bunch of loony's who dont have an argument at all.

Thing that gets me is that even if it could be proved beyond doubt that the universe came into being because of some space man designer entity, the religious still would not accept it because they want the answer to be THEIR GOD. Not an intelligent life form from another multiverse. That's the problem with blind faith. I swear that if someone went to the church and actually said "I have seen God, I spoke to him, we had diner together" they would send him to the nearest home for people with learning difficulties.

If anyone was a crazed funamentalist its this Robertson bloke. What a deluded fool. I mean, he believes that there is an invisible bloke in the clouds who is controlling everything, and we, and society give him the time of day. He should be treated like the demented fool he is, with contempt. struth!!! it makes my blood boil.
Comment #13783 by Paul Knowles on December 19, 2006 at 12:24 pm
Mr Robertson. Oh dear me, you really have hit rock bottom with your latest post. You are wrong on every count.
1. Atheists are NOT fundamentalists. Religious bigots are.
2. Atheism isn't a faith, far from it.
3. Communism, This is the big one. Stalin did what he did because of his political beliefs not because he was an Atheist. You might as well say he did what he did because he had a moustache.
4. Atheists are NOT dogmatic unlike your lot. You preach to all about how your faith is the right faith and all others are wrong.
Atheists simply (especially in the USA) employ the argument that religion is a bad thing for society.
You are probably one of those who think that without religion you cannot be a good person. Well I've got news for you minister. Here is an Atheist who is good at heart, has high moral standards and integrity. Honest and hard working. Brought up two good children. Taught them of the existence of religion but didn't force it upon them. They turned out to be Atheists of their own choosing.
All without the guidance of your god ( caps deliberately left of).
Having fun...

If I had a whole page to bebut every single point made by this so called journalist it wouldn't be enough. An hour of finely tuned edited nonsense to end with, I quote, "There may be a God, there may not be a God. Why cant we leave it at that?" What was the point of the program then? what a load of clap trap. The only people on the program that came across as sensible, well informed members of society were the Atheists.

Who is this jerk

In the end it boils down to this (and I'm going to use a quote from "The root of all evil"). We are going to die, that makes us the lucky ones. How true! All I think Dawkins is trying to do is make our time on Earth a more pleasant one. Simple really. Evangelical Atheism? Don't think so.

Having listened to the pair of them rattle on, I am so glad that someone like Richards Dawkins is around to throw a decent question at these self righteous fools once in a while. The Arch Bishop sounded unsure himself about what going on. We all know because we see it everyday. I did not hear one single sensible answer to anything put to him. Farcical really. I would love to see Dawkins in a debate with this man.
12. BBC Profile - Richard Dawkins

This reporter appears not to have listened or understood a single thing that Richard has attempted to explain to this idiot. I thought this was supposed to be a "profile" not a slating.

I would love to know how many suicide bombers Robert Pape interviewed to find out why they did it. What utter nonsense, Mr Brown!!
15. Review of The God Delusion
Comment #2882 by Paul Knowles on October 24, 2006 at 11:46 am
You started your review very positive and sensibly with what appeared to be an open mind, then it all went wrong. Dawkins is far from an Atheist fundamentalist. His views are expressed in the most unbiased way possible. He thrives on the Christian argument and states openly that Jesus (whoever he was) was a good person. God may well bring hope to you but, as Dawkins says, the God of the Old Testament is a very unsavoury character. Dawkins tell us what is true. Take it or leave it. He most certainly does not preach.

This guy is so typical. Dawkins book (I'm only half way through it) is enlightening and informative. I have not come across one sentence which could be described as evangelical. The truth hurts. Its difficult for adults who have been misled all their lives about this mystical entity, which has dominated their lives, to come to terms with the truth.
