I must have missed the learned Rabbi's peer reviewed articles debunking evolutionary theory. No doubt the answers lie in a deeper understanding of the Torah than I am capable of.

Harris writes with his usual clarity. It is indeed sad and pathetic how our species requires guidance from such ludicrous sources as "scripture" and "holy books". Religious intolerance is the greatest enemy to civilized society.

I feel for you Professor Dawkins. Now not only do you have to deal with unsubstantiated attacks from faith heads but must deal with jealous backbiting from your own university. McGrath must resort to using your name in his book titles and being affiliated with you at Oxford to gain attention and credibility. If his arguments are as trenchant as he claims (noticibly lacking in his posting), I will look for his books to also be on The New York Times bestseller list any day now. Keep up the good work. You have clearly tapped into a large, receptive audience at what will hopefully become a turning point for mankind.

One hopes that the combined power of Dawkin's reputation and undeniable intellect and Harris' persuasive, non confrontational style will win over those people who have not yet jumped into the Evangelical abyss which divides our country.
