As someone living in Kansas with a child in kindergarden, this situation is very bothersome. It was still a 6-4 vote!! I really don't want to have to worry about which way the political winds are blowing by the time my child is taking science classes. I am glad that the school board was ridiculed by the rest of the world to shine a light on the problem.

2. Richard Dawkins interview with Paula Zahn

I thought Prof. Dawkins did an excellent job given the time he had. Perhaps, a few more people will pick up his book as a result. I would be curious to know how he felt about the interview. The Atheist on the panel I don't think fared so well. Kudos to the professor's makeup person, you could barely see his horns.
