1. Unholy row at clergy soccer game

Comment #38094 by Goshzilla on May 7, 2007 at 12:35 am

A rabbi, a muslim cleric, and a pastor walk into a bar. Five minutes later they walk out with no mutal respect or understanding for one another.

2. God Exists. A Formula Proves it.

Embarassing. Seriously where was the evidence? Why didn't this reporter bother to talk to other professors at Tulane?

The guy writes out "{quantum mechanics}+{general relativity}" on a chalk board as if both sets have values. So what exactly are the elements in those sets? Don't bother asking him, I'm pretty sure his response will be looney.

But I did see the wireframe bannana, not too subtle is it? I hope that guy is just pulling our leg, cause he must be an embarassment to the other professors.

3. The Video: Bill O'Reilly Interviews Richard Dawkins

This was unintentionally funny. Stephen Colbert did such a spot on impression of Bill O'Reilly when Dawkins was on the show, that this interview played out exactly the same way.

4. Dawkins vs Haggard: the Python Edition

Actually, the follow up is more twisted than selling used cars. Haggard has claimed he was cured of his gayness.

5. Mormons miffed over coffee-swilling angel image

They(the mormons) don't have a case. No credible lawyer that wasn't a die hard Mormon would take their case on seriously.

Even though it may qualify as a trademark, they have many things going against them.

What we have is a photo of a statue that is publicly viewable from the sidewalk. Photographs of trademarked items are allowed, and digital alterations of a photograph are also allowed within reasonable grounds.

If this is not the case. For instance if the photograph was copyrighted and used in a published form of work, then the mormons would have real grounds to sue. If this is just an image from someone's digital snapshot camera, then Mormon lawyers can blow hot air all they want.
