Its unfortunate that the banana he presents was actually cultivated to be so perfect over thousands of years by (human) farmers. The early bananas were mostly seeds and little fruit and were successively bred to bear more fruit. Bananas today have infertile seeds and require further human intervention by planting cuttings of existing plants to keep the species going.
