Dr Benway: Is it not within the power of the Lord to open my mouth, just as He once opened the mouth of Balaam's ass?

Remnant: Science teacher: Today we are going to study this cake.
Student: Who made the cake.
Science teacher: It just happened let's just talk about the cake.
Student: But a cake can't just happen. Someone or something had to make it.
Science teacher: We are here to talk bout the cake.

masterbuilder: Which leaves me still with the question no one could answer me until now: Why is it unscientific to establish the thesis, that there could be the possibility of a intelligent designer to create the irreversible complexity (that was not known at Darwins times). Has science disproved the existence of God? Well why then it is called unscientific to propose that he may exists? To call this unscientific is the most unscientific statement one can make!

Remnant:
You are in essence trying to hold him accountable to what you believe is a lie. If the Bible is a lie and morals are relevant to the individual, you have no grounds to criticize him at all. His morals would be equally valid to yours.

remnant:
Why are you referring to the Bible, taken out of context to what the passage reveals by the way, from the God you don't believe in? By doing this, you are pre-supposing that God exists, the Bible is His Word, and it is truth.

Origin of the universe.
Abiogenesis.
Evolution by natural selection.
Ohm's law.
These are distinct theories or sets of hypotheses. People who combine and confuse them reveal their own ignorance.

Truth, what you're having a go at is abiogenesis. Are you intending to, or do you mean to show us the flaws in evolution? Also, I think you're wanted on another thread by 5keptic.
Remnant: A first principle of knowledge is that from nothing comes nothing.
Remnant: Scientific discoveries have confirmed that the universe had a beginning. Since the universe had a beginning, it therefore had a cause.

Remnant: If that cake has finished baking, could you answer a question concerning the flood instead of continually deflecting it into other areas. If I didn't know better (and I don't) I'd say you don't have any sort of answer. If you don't, it's ok to say "I don't know". Heck, it's somewhat encouraged around these parts.
If you want to claim you've answered the question by telling us to research it ourselves, please provide either a summary or a link to something which you would endorse concerning this flood hypothesis of yours.

If not, what are you doing here? Why not simply piss off back to wherever you came from? Surely there are otehr souls to be deluded?

Comment #169028 by riandouglas on April 25, 2008 at 2:18 pm
I think we have a small selection of questions at present, Remnant:
- What is your flood hypothesis? When? How?
- Does Genesis 1 & 2 represnt a truthfull account of the creation of the universe?
- What do you consider good and evil?
I've probably missed a couple, but these seem to be a little recuring. They're somewhat sorted chronological by time of asking, so if you could answer them in that order, that would be nice, but it isn't necessary.
Oh, please list those unanswered questions of yours and we'll probably rectify that for you.

Bonzai: As Diancanu so insightfully pointed out, if he is not afraid to show his children the X rated material in the Bible, which is full of gratuitous sex and violence, what is a little bit off hand swearing and man to man love (I never talk about my non existent sex life, maybe steve did. :)P)
Bonzai: If he thinks his kids are so easily corruptible, that is an indication of lack of faith, either for his children or God, or perhaps he thinks God would use the opportunity to test them and they would fail?

I don't actually want to encourage either wooter or clearmind to post more of their gibberish, but perhaps running a first language version of your presumably ill thought out ideas through an automated translater would result in something which was semi-coherent enough for people to respond to.
Then, you could take the responses and run them back to your native tongue.
I can't see how the result could be any worse than what you currently post.

646. Lying for Jesus?
Comment #168882 by riandouglas on April 25, 2008 at 12:25 pm
ipshuk: A lack of belief in something constitutes a belief to the contrary or simply "I don't know". A religious view is a view that either supports the existence of a deity or denies it. You may define the two views by categorizing them as "religious" and "irreligious" but they are both views regarding the existence of a deity nonetheless (i.e. pertaining to religion). You must be thinking about agnosticism (or variations of it)...
