What I want to know is what's wrong with slicing the lime (you get to use a knife, preferably obsidian...) and grabbing the salt shaker. Squeeze the lime juice into your beer and shake on some salt. Geez! Then start doing tequila shots.

Hahaha,

the first time I read Hawking's book I got a headache too. I understood it but my head hurt. At dinner last night I was babbling to a friend about ftl objects and other things that were discussed in this thread. Luckily things like that are expected of me...

In my interaction with various Ojibs and Poto's around here they get a bit irritated when the Lakota play head injun. I've heard, "we drove their asses out to the plains" more than once.

I love the measurement millihovind. The term "O'Brian" may already be taken by Wooter though...

-edit right after they tell me I'm not a real injun. Okay, so Abuela was Tarahumara and Abuelo was Purempecha...I always like the "real" qualifier...of course it could have something to do with Oma and Opa being from the Pfalz

Hmm,

My pops was old school. For a long time I thought my first name was goddammit. (ex drill instructor...quite colorful with the metaphors as well...) But, the goddammits were used because I was either daydreaming or not doing something right (the second or third time around). He also had a habit of working me from the crack of dawn until dusk when I came in late the night before. It was a pretty ugly being hungover. There was praise as well. But the expectations were very clear.

Some folks were brought in to MSU to share their "shamanistic" wisdom. It included the drink your urine new age garbage.

I did see a discovery health program where they were transplanting a kidney. Once they got the blood supply connected they unclipped the vessel that connected to the bladder to check it. Urine went everywhere but they weren't too concerned. They said it was sterile. They clipped it back up and then connected it to go into the bladder.

edit- I heard that McCain's health plan would be funded by making the value of employees health benefits taxable.
