"Our comments are based on the AB's comments as reported."
Since the Archbishop is a distinguished academic, I should think a few sentences here and there would not do justice. You need the complete text before you give an opinion.

I see you rationalist types are happy to rave on without having seen what the Archbishop actually said.

Anybody got a link to what the Archbishop actually send at the University of Swansea? It's really rather pointless to comment on a newspaper report.

The Glasgow Homeopathic Hospital is a fifteen bed unit within Glasgow's Gartnavel General Hospital 'Alternative' treatments are not touted as a replacement for standard medical practice. Is is annoying, though, that they couldn't call this unit by a less contentious name.

The tee shirt isn't a uniform that you have to wear. It's for kids and adults with chutzpah. I opt out, personally, but it's a great idea for those it fits.

"I'm afraid that Dawkins, Harris and Hitchens describe how the human society should be, but that Atran describes it as it is and a long time will be."
What is the supposed utopian vision of Dawkins? All I've noticed, is that he says more people are atheists than admit it and it would be a good thing if the irreligious were more upfront about their views.

"In the broadest case, mutual faith in an omniscient and omnipotent agent (the supreme deity of Abrahamic religions) mitigates cheating and the mentality of "every man for himself." "
For somebody with such extensive academic qualifications, he seems unusually idiotic. How many organizations are run on either Abrahamic or 'every many for himself' lines. Even a football team.
