The guy was addicted to porn....he was a hypocrite, ok not too bad.
He said he had cancer...he was a fraud, but that's what preachers do, they tell their flock lies to get money.
What I want to know is: did he do anything bad that affects the rest of us, like writing bum checks?

I think we should all get together and come up with some GOOD questions for the faithheads to ask Richard. I think he'd probably be shocked if he got asked a different question for a change.

Sorry if that sounded harsh, I didn't mean it that way.
It's funny, when you buy electronics at Costco, they have a concierge service that does a 3 way call to tech support in the U.S. When I had to send my laptop back recently for a new motherboard, the Pakistani guy was giving me the run around. I got the Costco lady to do the calling, I was on the phone for 10 minutes and got my computer sent off, repaired, and back in 4 business days.

Your memory is bad, age?
I said at the time, that I can repair computers, diagnose issues, etc. I find that fun and interesting. But do not ask me to take the time to learn how to do an avatar...it doesn't interest me.
If you call on my cell phone, you'll hear a message from my daughter saying that her dad hates cell phones and probably won't return your call. That doesn't mean I can't repair the damn thing.

Not a computer issue, or I would have dealt with it. It was about a stupid fax machine that was supposed to have a built in answering machine. It's a long (about 5 hours) story.

"Moreover, Dawkins' approach criminally neglects the duty of a teacher to present all sides of an argument when there is no consensus among the relevant experts."
This was the line in meadon's original blog that pissed me off. He went back and crossed out "criminally", still highly insulting to someone of Richard's reputation as a scientist and educator. The "no consensus among the relevant experts" is just utter nonsense.

Libby Purves' article (the one about Richard) didn't bother me that much. After researching some of the other crap that she has written, this article was more or less expected of her. What pissed me off, was how many other "journalists" jumped on her bandwagon. The, "if I criticize Dawkins, people will remember me" type. What a bunch of wankers.
