Team crash and burn was a group of us from work who would go and compete at the local hill. Kind of like league bowling at the local slope. I don't know if what I did could be called skiing. But it was fun and a good excuse to go to the hill and to drink afterwards.

I'm fortunate that my father, the retired science teacher/former alter boy/paratrooper drill instructor, shed the yoke of religion. There was the relapse in my tweens, which is why I was confirmed, but he shook it off. He was still the favorite of his ex-nun sister though but there was a bit of tension with the brother and sister inlaw who are in the choir.

I wouldn't say he isn't religious however...he worships fishing.
