Believer in Reason , Good, Tue, Jan 29 2013 #(1613)

The term ‘Non Believers’ is used to as another term for Atheists. I personally don’t like the term, as I am a ‘Believer’, it’s just that I choose to believe in reason. My personal view, based on evidence, is that reason is a good place to direct ones beliefs and makes such beliefs credible. To ‘believe’ in hocus pocus is non credible.

Hence we should replace the term ‘Believers’ with ‘Religious Believers’ and ‘Non Believers’ with ‘Evidence Believers’.

In general terms, I think that we should examine the language used by ‘Religious Believers’ to describe ‘Evidence Believers’ and where necessary confront it.
