Dear Professor Dawkins,
perhaps mine is not a letter for converts corner as I am, and have always been an atheist. Nevertheless I thought it worth emphasizing how important I think Professor Dawkins' books on Evolutionary Biology are. Darwin's great insight and seminal work, The Origin of Species is a fantastic book, but it is Dawkins' book that so lucidly and beautifully bring to life the idea. Starting with The Selfish Gene, Dawkins weaves a rich tapestry of ideas and clear thought elegantly explaining to a non-scientific audience the power and simplicity of Darwin's idea. In my opinion they belong as a boxed set and it would be great to have them as such, The Origin of Species, The Selfish Gene and the other books in Dawkins' repertoire on evolution. As a physicist I always derive great pleasure from reading your work on biology.
Thank you for your tireless efforts on promoting reason and for making Darwin's idea so accessible to a modern audience.
