When I first came upon your comments on religion (through videos I'd seen online), I found you too harsh — I didn't appreciate your honesty, I suppose. I kept listening to what you had to say however, because I found myself agreeing with you most of the time. Eventually I came to understand what a great service you were doing for everyone, your agenda to desensitize people, do away with the taboo.
Religious people are such a dangerous influence on our society, and thanks to you, I've developed a great comfort with criticizing baseless beliefs and all other enemies of reason. Instead of hesitating to refer to myself as an agnostic, I now proudly admit to my atheism, and I do my best to help those with blind faith reason their way to a better state of mind. I'd like to think I would've arrived at this point without your assistance, but I cannot deny that you've had a great impact on who I am as a person today.
