Surfing the net on Sunday evening, November 12, I heard your closing remarks to the college audience, and was fortunate enough to be watching when you told Liberty students to go to a real college.
It was indeed a rousing moment and deserved the thunderous applause.
Especially to someone who dumped catholicism at the age of 20 because her religion forbade her to consider marrying a harmless Presbyterian. I have since then been looked on as a wayward, stubborn, opinionated woman who will be greeted on my demiseby St. Peter at the gates saying, “We tried to tell you”.
Incredible the number of thoughtless zombies who are afraid of death and
trying to take out insurance on a seat in heaven. I am not afraid of death. I am “deathly” afraid of pain and hope to be one of the fortunate few who shuffles off this mortal coil “of natural causes”.
At eighty-one I am so comforted finally to discover such an intelligent and humorful gentleman who has smoothed the way.
