West African Humanist Conference 2014

The Humanist Association of Ghana is hosting the West African Humanist Conference 2014 in collaboration with the International Humanist and Ethical Youth Organization.

The theme is “African Youth For Science and Reason” and will be held December 20-21, 2014 in Accra, Ghana.

  • I hope they have good security as they’re painting a very big target on their backs. I hope it’s a big success though and I’m glad they’re undeterred by the potential fallout.

    I’m so happy and proud to hear that there is an African (Ghanian) Atheist group. We Africans should tell the truth that we came from LUCI and not from Adam and Eve.

  • Hi, Ardiem… Ghana is really free of security threats that will put the conference and attendees in danger. There’s no known case of targeted physical violence against humanists or nonbelievers yet. In any case, we appreciate your concern and will take measures. Thank you!
