We create opportunities for people to reflect on their own beliefs and hold them up to the light of day. Entertainment and popular culture provide one such means to raising these important questions.

This wonderful play by renowned playwright David Ives, thrusts the audience into 17th century Amsterdam, when atheism is put on trial.

After the young philosopher Spinoza is accused of atheism, the elders must summon him to the synagogue to defend himself. In this eloquent and masterful drama, Ives opens the temple doors and lets us listen to a dispute whose philosophical and political echoes still reverberate today.
